Dr. Marcus Grandon, Congratulations!

　　Marcus Grandon, Vice President of the ISHCC, has obtained his PhD from Aston University in Birmingham, UK. The title of his thesis is: "EXPLORING THE USE OF VIDEO-BASED MATERIALS IN THE JAPANESE UNIVERSITY ENGLISH LANGUAGE CLASSROOM".
　　He has been teaching English at several Japanese Universities, including Shizuoka National University and Nihon University, since he moved from the United States in 1990.
　　His MA thesis was "The practice and philosophy of aikido with special emphasis on ki “ at California State University, Dominguez Hills.
　　He was born in Texas in 1964, and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He lives in Shizuoka with his Japanese partner.
